Our Story
PressOrbit Media Ltd, a UK-registered, London-based digital publishing company, launched PressOrbit to provide clear, sourced press, publishing and public-affairs content for English-speaking audiences. The publication fills a gap for straightforward, evidence-based reporting on the media industry, public policy and the business of publishing — areas often served by either promotional material or opinion-driven commentary. We focus on factual coverage that helps professionals, policymakers and interested readers understand developments without hype or spin.
Editorial philosophy
Under Editor-in-Chief and Responsible Publisher Henry Oliver Davies Harrison, our editorial philosophy is built on accuracy, clarity and accountability. Every piece of content should be traceable to named sources and attributed to a specific writer; we do not publish anonymous or unattributed articles. This reflects a commitment to transparency and to giving readers confidence in the information they receive.
How the newsroom works
The editorial process follows a structured workflow. Each article begins with topic research using primary sources — official documents, press releases, interviews and public records — alongside reputable secondary sources. A named writer drafts the piece; an editor reviews it for accuracy and structure; key claims, figures and dates are fact-checked before final approval. After publication, articles are periodically reviewed and updated to reflect new information or corrections.
Corrections & transparency
PressOrbit may use AI-assisted tools to support research, drafting, summarisation or editing, but these never replace editorial judgement: every published article is reviewed by a human editor. When errors occur we correct them promptly and transparently — report any inaccuracy to info@pressorbit.co.uk. To see how we evaluate evidence, read our Sources & Partners page; to learn more about who we are, visit About.
